Purity, Power & Promotion - Personal Processing & Progression

The Lord God is a sun and shield
He gives grace and glory
No good thing will He withhold
From them that walk uprightly
That being said, what is your problem?
Why do you complain profusely
Against the living, loving God
Who sent His only begotten Son
Christ Jesus to die for you
He gave His all. What more can He do?
Why than in your heart and mind
Do you allow your thoughts to spew
Anger, bitterness, wrath, and rage?
Such emotions put you in a cage
Holding and confining your restless soul
As you yearn within to be made whole
Crave endlessly for a quality life
Meanwhile in turmoil you deal with strife
Tension and apprehension without comprehension
Did I mention the utter suspension
Of your mind, will, and emotions?
Continual criticism and commotion
As you tirelessly search for devotion
To pull yourself together for another day
Believe in God again, you rise to pray
Endeavoring to not complain or say
The obstacles that trouble your way
The financial challenges, so much to pay
Nevertheless you rise again to play
Play with pain and perform under pressure
Expecting to fight the devil, your soul's aggressor
Satan himself does always send an accuser
To try and test the purity of your character
Purity is important and can be most powerful.
Blessed are the pure in heart
For they shall see God
See God in their finances
See God in their marriage
See God in their family
See God in whatever burden
They temporarily must carry.
Purity opens the door to divine power
This my friend you need in this hour
Before your heart bitters and sours
And the enemy utterly robs and devours
Repent therefore and purify your heart
Do so quickly and let God again start
To make of you a work of art
Halt and sit down before you dart
Silence yourself and become smart
For God's ways are higher than your own
Your heart is the Creator's home
Purify it therefore and prepare for power
Realizing God can turn your situation around
Immediately and suddenly this very hour.
The promotion that eludes you is not far away
Get purity first, after which blessings will flow
Purity is the key to power and promotion
This you must grasp and fully know.

The True Power of Meditation

You have probably heard you should meditate, but whats in it for you? What are the true benefits to meditation?

The biggest benefit I see in meditation is that you still your mind. It becomes quiet...

Think of the last time your mind was racing with unstoppable thoughts... Maybe it's like that right now! I know for most people, having constant thoughts is normal. I know what that's like, it was normal for me too a few years ago.

But it's not like that for me anymore, in fact, as soon as my mind gets into this "over-thinking" mode, I immediately feel drained and my energy goes way down.

So what does this mean to you?

If you find that you are constantly thinking, you are only able to access and feel a very limited amount of energy.

If I could show you how much more energy you would have if you were able to quiet your mind even for a small amount of time each day, you would be amazed!

Because what happens when you quiet your mind is that your Spirit begins to shine through you. Your Higher Self or your Divinity becomes present. So you not only have more energy, you also have access to an infinite wisdom, creativity and even love.

That's why I believe meditation is beneficial. You stop allowing your mind to constantly be in control, you open to your more expanded, wise and loving self to come through.

And this can open your life up in ways your mind could never imagine... I know this has been true in my life.

Had I left my mind in charge, there's no way I'd be sharing my true passion through Intuitions. Id still be in my old engineering career, filled with doubts, fears and uncertainty. Knowing at a deep level what I always wanted, but not knowing how I could actually make it happen.

It took inspiration, energy, opening to possibilities, letting go of fear, allowing transformation within...

None of this could have happened had I let my mind stay in charge. I had to open to a greater wisdom, to a greater consciousness.

So try it for yourself, for the purpose of accessing the more amazing, infinite, creative, loving self that you really are, to open your life in wonderful ways you can't yet imagine.

Another important point is that it is not how long you can meditate for, it's that YOU CAN STOP your thoughts. That's all. That you can consciously stop your mind from it's crazy, non-stop, exhausting thinking... and open to peace, energy, vitality, inspiration, creativity, wisdom, and clarity. In just a moment.

Try it now, close your eyes, focus your attention within your body and allow yourself to relax and allow the thoughts of your day to just slip away. Focus on your breath, just watch it, feel it.

Why?

So you are focusing on something which allows your thoughts to stop.

If you have a hard time with that one, try a guided meditation. In guided meditations, you are focusing on the words so you are still stopping your thoughts, which is the point...

Either way, begin today, even if it is for short periods of time. Even if it is for 30 seconds, the point is why you're doing it and that you are doing it. It's not about performance, it's about allowing your amazing Spirit to shine through you and into your life. Opening your mind and energy to the wonderful possibilities for your life. Try it out to see the benefits for yourself!

7 Unique Ways To Make Someone Smile

Do you want to put a smile on someone's face? Maybe make their day a little bit brighter? It doesn't have to take much time or money on your part. In fact, many things can be done as a part of your normal routine and cost little or nothing. You won't know how many people are encouraged by your kindness because smiles are contagious. Try out one or more of these 7 ways today to put smiles on their faces.

1. Write an encouraging note to others that have encouraged you or that need encouragement. Handwritten notes that are given to encourage, not just for thanking someone for a gift, are rare. That makes handwritten notes even more special. Start a new practice of sitting down and writing an encouraging note on a regular basis. You just might start an epidemic!

2. Take a friend out to lunch or invite her to your home for a meal. You will get to know each other even better than you do right now. If you feel like being more adventurous, throw a party for several of your friends and put smiles on a multitude of faces.

3. Give someone an inspirational book to read. You will feel good doing it, reading the book will change the person, and they will think of you every time they read it.

4. Ask a friend or relative if you can take care of their kid(s) for a day or evening. If you have been a parent, you know the value of being able to have a few hours of "adult time" without worrying about the children. Don't wait to be asked to baby-sit when it is required. Offer to do it at a time when the parent can do something fun and relaxing.

5. Deliver a meal to someone you know that is sick or having a rough time. We have all been sick and know the last thing you want to do is be out of bed. There are also times when life is tough and it is hard to do all of the daily chores. You can be a tremendous help by providing a meal that can be enjoyed.

6. Volunteer time to supporting your local church or charity. Every minute you dedicate to a church or charity will cause many smiles. You will put a smile on the face of each leader just for helping without being asked. You will also be putting smiles on the faces of those that are being helped through the organization.

7. Thank everyone that supports you throughout the day. The list of those that you come in contact with is endless. Remember family and friends, secretaries, co-workers, teachers, Sunday school teachers, pastors, store employees, janitors, gas station attendants, those that deliver your mail and newspaper, and servers at restaurants.

I know this is a list of 7 ways to put a smile on someone's face, but there is one more way that can't be ignored. Reveal a genuine smile to everyone you meet. You will experience how easy it is to get others to smile!

How To Write A Eulogy

Remembering someone special in a personal way can be healing for everyone concerned, for a eulogy is a deeply personal way of saying goodbye. The key word is life, and you've been given the opportunity to celebrate a loved one's life in the individual way that made your friend unique. Don't be daunted by the task, just take these simple steps for a sincere and moving last farewell.

To prepare a eulogy, you will need to be well prepared. The eulogy should convey your feelings and your experiences and should be written in an informal, conversational tone. Its not for summarising the person's life and it doesnt have to speak for all present. Just sit down and write from your heart. So, where do you start?

1. Get your material

First, collect some biographical facts : age, working life, marriage dates, places lived, children, and so on. Ask the family, they will welcome the chance to talk about their loved one. Then collect personal facts : special skills and accomplishments, characteristics, hobbies, etc. Now think about the stories you remember, or the turn of phrase or typical behavior that captures a person's character so well.

Here are some questions to get you thinking:

  • How did you and the deceased become close? When did you meet?
  • What's a humourous or touching event that sticks in your mind. Does it represent the individuality of your friend?
  • What did you most like and admire about the deceased?
  • What will you miss most about this person?
  • What will you always remember?

Some of the simplest thoughts are deeply touching. For example, "I'll miss his crooked grin Ill always remember her bubbling laugh. These warm touches will bring loving memories to those who are listening. Some of the best memorial services are filled with fond remembrances and laughter. Poetry is inspirational, and also of great assistance in writing a eulogy.

2. Organise your material

Write your notes in point form on sheets of paper or on 3x5 file cards - one idea to a card. Now group the cards into piles of similar topics. Then sort each pile of cards into a logical order. Write your first draft. Use linking sentences to make each topic flow easily into the next. Pay most attention to your beginning and ending. As you write, edit and polish, keep the words "celebration" and "thanksgiving" in your mind.

3. Practice!

If youre not used to speaking in public, start practicing. Run an Internet search on 'speaking tips' or borrow a book on speaking from the library. Read your speech into a tape and then play it back. You'll be able to polish your eulogy and your delivery. Now stand in front of a mirror and practice some more. Even someone who has never spoken in public at all will do a good job with practice.

4. How do you keep calm?

It doesn't sound easy, but you can do it. If you're worried about choking up or breaking down in the middle of your eulogy, you can take a moment to compose yourself, then carry on. This is perfectly acceptable. If youre afraid you might break down while in the middle of the eulogy and find yourself unable to recover, ask someone ahead of time to be ready to take over at a signal from you. Give them a copy of your eulogy. Just knowing you have a backup speaker will probably be all you need to stay calm.

Above all, remember to breathe

You'll only have to speak for five to ten minutes, but your gift will live on in the hearts of the deceased's family and friends

You Don't Have To Be A Size 6 To Be Beautiful

Warning: This article is not meant to belittle or attack anyone whose dress size is below 14. Nor is it meant to disparage anyone from participating in any of the diet plans available today.

Okay ladies, it's time to say a few words on behalf of fat people! You can be fat and happy. Yes, it is possible to be large, healthy and enjoy everything life has to offer. Where is it written you have to be a size two in order to be more attractive and loving?

For years, we have been bombarded with magazines, commercials, and ads featuring women who promote diet plans, when we know full well they've never seen a fat day in their life! We have been chastised, insulted, ignored; set apart by a society which dictates that thin is in and fat is out. There have been movies; news people pretending to be fat to determine how they are treated by the public; songs; rhymes; and a variety of jokes, although not meant to hurt, have indeed thrust the knife in our proverbial backs. And then Emme came! Bless her soul. Not only is she beautiful and intelligent, but fully engaged in promoting large women in an articulate and loving manner.

Society puts so much emphasis on labels, that as a result, fat people fall victim to discrimination in the work place; the media; and just about every area in society. Why? Fat equals dirty, unkempt, and over-indulgent. This is so far from the truth; it's ludicrous. Yes, obesity is a pandemic, and yes it causes health risks; but to categorize all fat people as a human blight on society is wrong. Quite frankly, for fat people; the joke is not on them but on the rest of society. Fat people are content; productive and extraordinary human beings. Did anyone ever consider this continuous barrage of bad behavior towards fat people may be more harmful than helpful? Of course not! We place so much emphasis on everyone being equal in this country; yet behind the scenes the scurrilous insults continue; and the hypocrisy goes on.

If you are overweight, either through genetic inheritance or otherwise, and are content and happy in your life; more power to you! Happiness isn't just for thin people. Without it, one can become listless, depressed and invite serious health concerns. Isn't it more important to be happy within your own skin; to be true to yourself; to love and be loved because of your inner beauty and intelligence? Perhaps it's nave to think so. How sad it is, then, for those of you who retreat from overweight individuals, because they aren't as perfect as you!

Cultivating The Relationship You Desire

When it comes to relationships it seems that everyone is turning to the latest and greatest quick fix method available for $19.95. Have you also notice that in the media every Tom, Dick and Harriet are now claiming to be the relationship experts that can fix your relationship in about 37 minutes, (23 minutes for the commercial sponsorship so you don't get the whole hour).

If you dont believe me, watch a few daytime talk shows and then email me in the evening. Now that I have your attention I will tell you a few things that are not that sexy, but WILL enable you to get your sexy back. How many of you have seen, desired or built your dream garden? That gorgeous garden didnt just appear out of thin air, it had to be planted. When desiring to start your garden; your labor of love that will be the envy of all the neighbors and maybe even the surrounding communities, you must first analyze your soil. This in professional terms is called finding out what you are working with.

What this means to a relationship is simply this; If you are into museums and subtitled foreign films and your mate is into sports and action flicks you might want to look into renting Crouching tigers hidden dragon rather than a French love story & the pro-football hall of fame is a kind of museum right? Knowing this little bit going into the relationship will help you make an informed decision on whether or not this will be for you. Now for those of you that are already married and find out these facts be prepared to start weeding out the things that will be harmful or choke your good tomatoes and kill your rose plants. This simply put means instead of letting harmful hurt feelings and resentment arise; communicate what your expectations are. Remember that you are dealing with the person who loves you and will most likely want to resolve any issue just as much as you do.

Now knowing the soil that you have and removing some weeds doesnt mean that everything will be fantastic it just means that you have started your journey to get your sexy back. You have to fertilize and water your ground for your garden to continue to flourish. When dealing with your mate you need to understand that everyone, even you have fears and shortcomings that they need their wife or husband to love them enough to get past. This means that even if your roses or tomatoes dont bloom exactly when the seed package said they would, you still have to continue to water, fertilize and weed with the expectation of your garden being the best.

I challenge everyone reading this article to cultivate the relationship that they are currently in so that it will become the relationship that you want and desire. The garden next door may be in full bloom and you may think, What would I give to have that? Well keep your mind clean and knees and hands dirty with your soil and the neighbors will be admiring you soon. With all that being said I encourage you to seek God in your marriage, since he is the architect of marriage and knows every design structure imaginable you will never be wrong for following his plan written in the Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth (Bible). God Bless you,

Change: The Other Dirty Word

What comes to mind when you hear the word change? Are you fearful? Excited? Does you blood run cold or do you hear yourself saying, I like things just the way they are.? Is change, the other dirty word?

Most of us find change hard. Not necessarily because we do not want to change but because it is sailing into the unknown. Who knows what is going to be around the next bend in the road? We are most likely to rail against changes that are going to have an adverse effect on our lives.

Its easy to see why someone would be upset if they lost their job. It is one of those unexpected changes in life, just something that changes without our control. One thing we didnt see coming, one that we were not prepared for. It is natural to be resistant, be angry, or every scared as you travel into the mysterious future without the security that was once there.

Most people continue on, find a new job and most times find out that the change turned out to be a good one. Maybe they found an even better job, maybe they found a job that allows them be with their family more, or they decided to go back to school. Sometimes its easier to change when you are pushed into a corner.

So, if what seems like a negative change can turn out to be a positive, then why is it that people fight making positive changes in their lives, as well? Why do we not change things that we do not like in our lives? What makes us procrastinate the changes that could make our lives better? What do we fear?

Often times it is the fact that we fear failure, even though it is not consciously known. What if we fail to make our dreams a reality? What happens to that dream then? Is that what you fear? The lost of a dream? Trying and failing?

It is natural in human nature to think the worst. Failure would mean the death of a dream. But, what if you tried and succeed?

It is possible, isnt it? People do it everyday, they accomplish their goals, and they reach their dreams. They choose to push pass the fear of failure, the fear of loosing a dream, and bring into reality what was only a vision boardin their mind.

So, how do we push past the fear, the doubt, and the anxiety of changing our lives for the better, while expecting the worst? What makes us take that leap of faith? Usually, it is a realization that, its just not working anymore. Whether it, is a career, a relationship, or even something within themselves. It is evident that there needs to be a change, in order to fulfill the yearning to find what is missing in their lives. That is what motivates people to get through the fear of moving forward instead of just towing the status quo.

Break it down in steps. Just saying, I want a better job. is a daunting goal, unless you break down it down into the steps that will lead you there. Utilize the tools or skills that are going to move your towards that big goal at the end. If you goal is to get a better job, then determine what you need to do it. Would having your degree help put you in that better job? What about improving your skills? By breaking your goals down into steps, it will increase your changes to achieve because you are laying down the foundation on which your goal or dreams can be built on. Without a good foundation your aspirations might not have the support then need to grow and flourish.

Being determined, willing, and committed to change. Change is not an easy course of action. It is the process of breaking old habits and replacing them with better routines that will lead you towards what you want to accomplish. You did not create those old habits over night, it has been months or years of practice, of them becoming routine to you. Change is not going to happen overnight, it too will take practice.

If for example you are trying to change the habit of always looking at the negative, then you will have to actually practice flipping that immediate habit of negative thinking or perception into a positive way of thinking. It takes work, it takes time, and it takes persistence. You will have to remind yourself of what the benefits of maintaining a positive perception will give you.

Stay motivated by reminding yourself what accomplishing each step is going to mean to you. Will you be happier? More confident? What will that lead you to? With more confident will you be able to be more law of successful? Will it be a stepping stone to something bigger and better? Will it make changing your life easier?

Get the support that you need. Most people let pride stand in their way of asking for help. There has always been and always will be people in our life that shows us examples of over coming adversity, that help us find our personal strength. Surround yourself with people that have accomplished what you are trying to do. Seek out people that uses the skills that you want to develop. Be around people that tend to bring out the best in you. Spend time with people that will not give up on you and will tell you all the reasons that you should not give up on yourself or your dreams.

Above all, you have to believe in yourself. Find the strength you need within yourself. Empower yourself to follow that path to life improvement through change. Take it one step at a time. We only need the courage to over come that fear and to take those steps that will lead to a better future. Tap into your strength. Believe in yourself and in your power to overcome obstacles. Believe that you can design the life you want and get to your hearts desire at the end of the path called change.
