Have you ever asked yourself why am I wasting my time at a job that not only doesn't fulfill me, but doesn't seem to move me in any way? Do you hear that inner voice swaying you to go after what you truly desire? Where your calling takes you as you seek to do what you really want and change careers may seem difficult, but with time, dedication and spiritual well being you will, and can succeed.
Something has been drawing you closer and you may stumble a few times but the feeling of success can be felt and tasted with every attempt. The more you achieve or complete your task the more you become more excited about your new chosen field, and the feeling can be invigorating to say the least.
For years you may have dedicated yourself to a position that at the time you felt was a stepping stone, but then the years dragged on, your true calling placed on hold; and life as you envisioned it is just a distant memory. You may even attempt to do what you desire, which for me has always been writing. During my teens I must have written over two hundred poems, a few dozen short stories, and kept a multitude of journals filled with every day experiences, yet I never truly went after my dream.
As I grew older my writing skills were utilized by writing business letters, correspondence, and responding to emails; and that voice inside will come out. You have the potential to do more, your imagination is always racing, yet you never put it down in print. You dream about being that next bestselling author and basically envision your name on the cover of one of the most recently released novels. As I began to grow wiser, I realized that spiritually I didn't believe strong enough.
The gift I was bestowed with is still within and must be unleashed. I then began to focus on my talent more, and the more I turned the focus on the more I felt alive. You can only imagine my surprise when the flow returned, the imagination ran wild, and the life experiences were now not only in my mind but in true written form. The feeling of accomplishing my goal was the most rewarding experience, other than the birth of my child that I ever felt grateful for.
There is nothing you can't obtain if you let the inner you shine through. Have faith in what you posses, and once you do there is no greater feeling than being proud of yourself for stepping out of the norm. As a writer I can express myself anyway I want, and feel good about reaching out to someone, or even helping them out in some way. Relationship issues arise every day, and the streets are piled with untold stories. Then there's the imagination, and with that alone the stories are just endless, the characters come to life, and your readers simply want more.
It doesn't matter what your calling is, go after it. If you hear the voices, listen to them, if you have faith in yourself you can achieve it. Most of us ignore the psychic ability we possess and pass it off as day dreaming, but deep inside you know otherwise. That ability has gotten you out of countless incidents, which later seemed coincidental, but it wasn't. I saw my name in print as a teen and achieved success in my adult years because I chose to believe in my spirit guide. As a child of Christ I knew my talent was passed down to me for a reason, and now I know what that reason was.
Currently I am managing two websites, co-webbing for another; and have had a multitude of articles written and published in a number of online sites, as well as a relationship based magazine, and all this I've accomplished by centering all beliefs on God, and letting him worry about the flaws or obstacles. The magazine is a starter, and still trying to compete among the rest of the publications, but it is based on something we all endure on a daily basis which can never be ignored and that's "relationships." Whether it is about a lifetime companion, dating, break-ups, or even family issues, the main focus is always relationships. Writing for this publication has proven how great a concept it truly is as well as has great meaning to me for so many different reasons.
At last I am doing something that I know will please, and fulfill me in every way. I write because I was meant to, and I love every minute of it. Prayer leads to many rewards, and even though I placed my talent on hold for a number of years, it was never truly lost. I am an accomplished writer, and I thank my lucky stars, spiritual advisor, and the man above for leading me on the right path. Somehow the time and dedication I have given this magazine as contributing writer, turned Executive Editor has been rewarding in every way. I have learned a lot about the publishing field, and even created my very own writer's site in hopes of helping other writers achieve their fullest potential.
There is nothing preventing you from seeking that perfect career. Our guardians are with us every step of the way, and with them all goals can be met if you truly believe. Nothing else compares to the power of faith, and belief. Life is so much more appealing when you are contributing in a way that pleases not only you, but everyone around you, and the one above for giving you the foresight to obtain it, for only as a spirited, self-believing person can you set free your capabilities, and only then can you really and truly be blessed.
