There are two different paths you can take in life. You can choose to live a life created from your personality or a life created from your soul.
An example of someone who chooses to live a life based solely on their personality would be a man who has a "need to impress" personality whose life choices are based on what others may think; not on how he feels. He will purchase popular expensive cars and an extravagant home with a well known zip code. He will buy every expensive material object he can possess and will marry a trophy wife. His ego is ecstatic when he successfully impresses others with everything he accumulates. His happiness is based on the forever changing opinions of those around him. It's sad but true that even with all the diamonds and gold, and having a wife wrapped with beautiful ribbons and bows, he will never experience true happiness from this path in life. He can experience only short-lived satisfaction.
Another example of someone taking the personality path would be a woman who has low self-esteem who always seems to fall short of her dreams. The men in her life are emotionally, physically, mentally or verbally abusive because her personality tells her this is all she deserves. She can not trust or accept a man who treats her lovingly since that's not how her ego says she is supposed to feel or be treated. She will successfully sabotage anything that moves towards extreme success in her life, because her personality continuously reminds her she is not good enough for anything great. True happiness eludes her.
Unfortunately, people who follow the path of the personality will never experience true happiness; it just cannot be. Their egos are being fed abundantly while their souls are starving.
We are spiritual beings and our souls must be nourished in order to flourish.
When people follow the path of their souls, any and everything is possible. People who follow the path of their souls choose to do whatever makes them feel good. They choose to do what they love.
When following the path of your soul, the truth of who you are is revealed and the labels attached to you from your infinitely small ego are ripped off. Your soul is too huge to be labeled.
Life becomes amazingly simple when you have faith and trust in the path that your soul will lead.
YOUR LIFE really can be as beautiful and as bountiful as YOU create it to be! Self Empowerment is the Key!
You must feed your soul by doing the things in your life that you love.
